Educational series on Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz
A digital guided tour in Hanover
This educational film series invites visitors to tour "The world of Leibniz". While the Leibniz exhibition at the LUH’s main building remains closed due to the Corona pandemic, 6 short movies provide virtual access to the exhibition. Ranging from "Social Media in the 17th century – Leibniz the science communicator" to the mechanical calculators developed by Leibniz, the series answers questions like "Did these devices actually work?" and"“How do zeros and ones in the LUH logo relate to Leibniz?". Two of these films also showcase the connection between Leibniz and the Guelph dynasty, and silver mining in the Upper Harz.
