The Food Packaging Technology at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover
HsH’s innovative food packaging technology bachelor program (LMV) is unique in Lower Saxony. A maximum of 25 students is admitted each winter semester. There is a high demand for well-trained professionals in the filling and packaging industry. The study program educates students in the fields of food technology, hygiene, process engineering, producing packaging materials from renewable resources, as well as the economical and ecological comparison of packaging systems. The program is complementing the wide range of applied modern technology at HsH. During the master program, this knowledge is further expanded. We have talked to some of the bachelor and master students.
